This RARE and wonderful handmade Japanese kokeshi doll was crafted by award-winning sosaku kokeshi artist Harumine "Seiho" Aida. Made in the 1950s or 1960s, this vintage kokeshi has an amazing expression. We absolutely ADORE her!!
Aida was an important artist during the golden age of modern kokeshi making. He won at least two awards at the All Japan Kokeshi Competition in the early 1960s.
